The work “Echo of the Mind” combines the early printing of newspaper, magazine advertisements, missing notices, information about marriage seeking, job hunting or further education, and traditional temples and numerology stalls in the past, and further integrates children's imaginative graffiti. The paper fiber sculpture technique is used to recombine and collage, and made it a well and landscape that gathers the pursuit and desire of ancient and modern people. The words and bricks built along the ground, the self-reflected from the water inside to the center, are a metaphor for the present self.
The web interface connected to the device will display questions related to participants' desires. To input the true words in your heart, and the interactive device will send out the content of the viewer's response as the echo in the well, just like talking to yourself in a parallel world. Through the ripples of water waves and the echo vibration, the inner resonance is generated. Open crowd and random participation of people is a ritual experience that connects different time and space channels, as well as a performance of exploring soul.
